The policy pays cash benefits to an eligible insured for first diagnosis of covered cancer. As long as written satisfactory proof of first diagnosis is provided while the policy is in force, you receive a one-time, lump sum payment of up to $50,0001. You can use your cash benefit to pay costs for treatment not covered under your medical plan, offset travel expenses to treatment facilities, replace lost income if you’re unable to work, or spend how you see fit.
